Farts smelling like corn chips?!?

What's going on with my body?! I had an apple turnover for breakfast earlier and now I can't stop farting! They smell like corn chips too! Why is this? Would putting a tampon up my butt help the weirdness of the smell go away? I need some serious help. Would the scented tampons make my farts smell better? Thanks!
