Is the third eye bad in Hinduism?

I recently started studying Hinduism and I learned of a few things . One thing however, the third eye. I am psychic and very sensitive to climate/people's feelings etc. and it all started when I turned 13;it came out more because I was facing depression and also, I had what they call near death experiences I stopped breathing in my sleep for almost three hours one night and I saw what is after death. A peaceful darkness. I have visions in dreams and I can feel the outcome of things as well. I am really mature to be 16 everyone always tells me and always has. I have the feel of an old soul I guess you could say. I have a mole in the middle of my forehead but it's more to the right than just SMACK in the middle of my forehead, I noticed it about last year when I was 15. I don't think it was always there. They say that a mole in the middle of the forehead is the eye of Shiva but I was reading and they make it seem like it's a bad thing to have on the site i read ? They said it's why the Indians wear the purgee on their forehead and the dot to keep it closed. Is third eye really bad?(I also know the eye of Shiva is Buddhism)
