Is it weird to rent home from BF parents?

I have a situation where my BF and his family are moving and is about to rent their home out... They have asked me if my family and I would like to rent from them since that way they know who lives there,but I am a little hesitant since their family my look down on me and my family or maybe just some other weirdness by it. I was wondering if anyone can give some insight from a 3rd person POV. FYI my family are actually not looking for a place but my BF family just want us to do a favor for them and live there I guess- and YES we have to pay rent (exact same amount and just a little better living place).
