Why do boys like to confuse you!?

ok so my ex and i have been talking for a while now. Things have led to another. But we have yet to see each other in a yr and a half. Last weekend I went to my best friends wedding. I posted pictures yesterday and i wake up today from a text from him. Which isn't out of the ordinary. We text often, but then I read it. It says you looked really good in the wedding pictures you will make some guy very happy miss. So i respond with thanks i guess haha. and then say I'm very weird to which he responds with yeah that was a weird thing to say just keep living your life you will figure it out, your prolly weirded now then when i knew you. then we continued to have a conversation about how when you meet someone thats worth dating the weirdness goes away and your just comfortable with yourself. Ok sorry but like what does this mean. Like was he just sad and drunk looking through pictures and missed me so he wrote that idk what do you think?
